This is a great book if your looking to expand your knowledge of how to play Bass Guitar. It was a big help in learning how to play songs that are more complicated than a couple of whole notes and some quarter notes. If your looking for a book to learn from after you've mastered the basics this is the book for you.

On of the mainissues of the Work of Balthasar is the desire to liberate the theology from its narrow constructed house. He was of the opinion that the greek philosophy does not give the sufficient categories to understand in depth the salvation mystery as made trough the living God. Therefore he tried to retell the whole drama of salvation, the drama of Gods encarnation, the drama of the relation between God and every single person, with the help of the theatral categories.

This first volume of the five volume work "Theodrama" is an introduccion to understand and know the categories. Balthasar works trough the whole history of dramaturgia since the very beginning more than 2500 years ago and passes trough an amount of authors uptil the midst of the 20th century. As always Balthasar normally read all the written work of an author. He analieses their works in their usability to offer categories for the development of the "Theodrama".

It is important to be beware that for the theologican Balthasar is to find and develop an analogy from the categories of the dramatic world to get the possiblity to explain better the drama of God with the world. There are no identity between this categories and the drama of God.

"Theodramatic" is maybe the most important contribution Balthasars to the theology and it is highly recommended to read the five volumes.

An excellent book to use for Bible studies on current issue forums

This book is about John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The authors Barbara Harrison and Daniel Terris do a good job making this book seem like we really meet John. A Twilight Struggle describes John's hopes and dreams. After the first few pages it is a page turner.

Unlike many Y2K books which "take sides" in this controversial issue, this Unofficial Guide tries to present information on all parts of the issue. Since it was published in September 1999, the most recent data available was used. Whether you consider yourself a pollyanna, a doomsayer, or just want to find out what is the real "scoop" on this issue, this book presents a balanced view of all sides and arguments so you can make up your own mind.

Whitaker was a pretty far-out photographer, who liked to take images and add his own artwork to them. Some of the stuff he did this way is pretty poor, but when he sticks to straight photography he comes up with some good ones. (Others are blurry.) His posed photos of John and Cynthia at home are great, as are some of his shots of the Beatles on tour. Interesting.

Harrison's niche is combining contemporary language (including obscenities and slang) with traditional poetic forms. Working class Leeds meets classicism. Harrison does this beautifully, his many fine moments well outweighing his occasional metrical or rhyme difficulties. The long title poem is a painful meditation on the speaker's self and heritage occasioned by finding his parents'gravestones defaced by obscene graffiti. Other poems extent and enrich Harrison's reflections on his working class background and painful relationship with his father. There are other powerful, moving and memorable poems in this slim volume which, dear reader, you should have if you enjoy traditional forms and devices, all in the service of a keen mind and open heart. And hunt down his Selected Poems while it's still in print.

This book has some good illustrations for re-enactors to make replica weapons, but you should know that this is just a re-release of Osprey's Viking Hersir 793-1066 AD. This release has a different title and different cover, so I was misled into buying it again, but I am returning it. If you don't have Viking Hersir, I suggest you get this book. It's not very in depth, but does give a good overview of various aspects of the Viking warrior.

This book is less philosophical than many of Harrison's works. The main character is a hilarious buffoon that had me cracking up throughout, though I thought the beginning was pretty slow. Very high in entertainment value, with the usual J. Harrison sex, but more of it. Keep it in the bathroom when you're finished and leaf through it for laughs now and then!
